JOY (Just Older Youth) Senior Ministry:
The Senior Ministry, also known as JOY (Just Older Youth), is a committee that aims to create a welcoming environment for senior citizens. They organize activities to enhance seniors’ spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical well-being in our community. Senior citizens can participate in this program, and the Ministry elects its officers to perform tasks relevant to the committee’s activities.

On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 10:00am in Beane Hall, we will be showing the movie, “Boys in the Boat”. This is an inspirational true story about a group of underdogs, at the height of the Great Depression, as they are thrust into the spotlight, taking on elite rivals from around the world as part of the 1936 Berlin Summer Olympic Games. We are providing lunch afterwards, so Y’all Come ! |

Join us on Tuesday, March 26, at 10:00 am for a fun activity! We will be making edible Easter Robin Nests for our robin egg candy. These nests will be created as Easter gifts for others, and any leftovers will be used to show off our creativity. Don’t worry—if you don’t know how to make these, we’ll teach you! We will be meeting in Beane Hall and then heading to the kitchen. After the activity, pizza will be served
